Objectives:

YOUTH: Promoting active citizenship, young people’s sense of initiative and youth entrepreneurship including social entrepreneurship:

Actions in the project “Youth Challenge” promote inclusion, diversity, equality, gender balance and nondiscrimination in education, training and youth activities. The aims of the project are:

  • Promoting entrepreneurship education and social entrepreneurship among young people.
  • Foster the development of social, civic, intercultural competencies, media literacy, critical thinking, also combating discrimination, segregation, racism, bullying and violence;
  • Enhance the access, participation and learning performance of disadvantaged learners, reducing disparities in learning outcomes. The aims of the project provide active youth participation in public life and an opportunity for promoting quality youth work.

Implementation:

Planned project activities which are going to be implemented:

  1. Project management and implementation
  2. Transnational project meetings / meetings in each partner country
  3. Project Results/products:

– Research -Studying EU Best practices of young people for entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship.

– Methodology for developing basic skills and key competences for social dialogue, youth and social entrepreneurship.- Pilot course – module for young people to learn new techniques, programs and know-how in the field of social, civic, intercultural competencies, media literacy, and critical thinking, as well as combating discrimination, segregation, racism, bullying, and violence.

4. Short term staff training -1 practice in Greece for 14 experts from Bulgaria.

Results:

The main results and quantity and quality indicators for the project proposal are:

  • 1 practice in 1 European country /Learning, Teaching, Training Activities/ – Greece for 14 experts from Bulgaria
  •  1 Research report ;
  • 1 Methodology;
  • 1 Course
  • Developed skills and exchange of the best innovative European practices, knowledge, competencies and know-how.
  • Positive impact and lasting positive effects on the participating organizations as regards the policies, systems, as well as those directly or indirectly involved in the organized activities
  • achievement of an effective fight against discrimination, development of social, civic, and intercultural competences, media literacy and critical thinking, as well as combating segregation, racism, bullying and violence.
  • Increasing youth workers’ and young people’s opportunities for professional development and enhancing their motivation and satisfaction from their daily work with youth.
  • Strategic partnerships with specialists from other European countries, increased motivation and activity with the aim is to develop skills, to exchange the best European practices, knowledge and know-how.
